Our 2026 Men's Conference was held on March 6th and 7th at Singing Hills Conference Center in Plainfield, NH. It was a great time of teaching and fellowship for the men of Christ Redeemer Church, Christ Restoration Church, and The Quechee Church.

We had the privilege of hearing from Alasdair Groves on "Becoming a Man After God's Own Heart: Lessons from King David on Following Jesus." King David is one of the most famous figures in the Bible, wrote the majority of the Psalms, killed a literal giant, and is the only person in Scripture described as "a man after God's own heart". Yet he also committed some of the most egregious sins in all of Scripture. Throughout the weekend, we focused on what we can learn from this deeply broken man who was also deeply committed to following and clinging to God. Our hope is that we came away from this conference more eager to be men after God's own heart and more wise in understanding the steps each of us needs to take to live this out.

"Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord….” (Luke 2:10-11)

On November 21st and 22nd, we had over 80 kids and leaders at Christ Community Church (CCC) in Plainfield, NH for our annual Fall Youth Conference.

This year's theme was "Christ Over All." When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment is, He answered: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Together, we explored how Jesus Christ transforms what we want most, shapes the way we think, and directs the way we live each day. From talks and music to small groups and Q&A, we had a great time considering this topic together.

We are incredibly grateful that CCC has let us host the conference in their space for the 5th year in a row and to all our amazing leaders for their work in making the Fall Youth Conference such a fun and engaging time not only filled with learning but also with a lot of fun. Summer Celebration Camp 2025 - We had so much fun exploring our theme of “Road Trip: On the Go with God!” based on Joshua 1:9. What a joy to know that “God is with us wherever we go!”

During the week, we encouraged kids to consider Bible stories that highlighted ways God is with us...

• Abraham - God is with us on the journey (Genesis 12:1-9).
• Moses and the Israelites - God is with us when we go off course (Exodus 13:17-22).
• Mary and Elizabeth - God is with us when we are joyful (Luke 1:39-56).
• Zacchaeus - God is with us when we are lonely (Luke 19:1-10).
• Paul - God is with us near and far (Acts 18:1-11).

Our Ocean City Youth Retreat, June 27th through July 2nd was a great time! There’s something special about going to the same place year after, knowing we will fill it with laughter, friendship, ridiculous games, and plenty of time carved out to focus on Jesus.

This year was no exception! We had a great week together as we considered our theme of “Anchored in Christ.” In Jesus, we don’t just find comfort in the chaos, we find a foundation for every part of life. He anchors our identity, reshapes our hearts, and satisfies our deepest longings.

No youth retreat would be what it is without the leaders who give of themselves to make this week possible. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

On March 28th and 29th, we gathered for our annual Women's Retreat in Fairlee, VT.

The retreat theme was "Broken Cisterns & a Flowing Fountain" from Jeremiah 2:13. Speakers Christine Engert and Susie Matter taught on God confronts Israel by calling their self-salvation strategies “broken cisterns,” useless vessels they have made to try to quench their soul thirst and calm their fears. He calls them to come to Him, the “fountain of living waters." Together, we considered “cisterns” we turn to when life is hard and how to identify our specific cisterns and turn to the true Fountain instead.

Our February 28th and March 1st, men from Christ Redeemer Church, Christ Restoration Church, The Quechee Church and several other churches gathered for a time of teaching and fellowship at Singing Hills Conference Center in Plainfield, NH.

The conference speaker was Pastor David Pinckney (our current interim pastor) who spoke on "Finding Strength and Purpose in the Seasons of Life." Sociologists often talk about different stages of manhood. One framework identifies four stages: cowboy, soldier, king, and sage. From the Apostle Paul's letter, 2 Timothy 2, we will look at how grace, the Word, and community can shape each of our lives depending on which stage we are in, and how he invites Timothy to share in suffering —a wild idea! He uses three images: a soldier, an athlete, and a farmer, to draw out the biblical truth that a sacrificial life precedes a greater glory to come. Join us as we gather to grow in our knowledge and love of our Savior and King, Jesus Christ!

On November 22nd and 23rd, we had over 70 kids and leaders at Christ Community Church (CCC) in Plainfield, NH for our annual Fall Youth Conference. The overnighter is always a great time of learning, worship, and fun! We are incredibly grateful that CCC has let us host the conference in their space for the 4th year in a row.

We had multiple wonderful times of worship led by our group of volunteers and youth with a set list of worshipful songs and even Christmas songs! The worship was followed up by talks on this year's theme of “No Greater Love: A Relationship with God”. The talks addressed how we are relationally driven people yet fail quite often in how we go about relationships with ourselves, others, and God. On the first night, we had the privilege of hearing Erin Audino share her testimony as well as Chris Audino speak on both “Relationships with Self” from Luke 18:9-14 and “Relationship with Others” from Philippians 2:1-11. And because we didn’t have enough yet we had the first of our two breakout sessions which addressed: Friendships, Conflict in Relationships, and Dating led by Mike O’Leary, Lara Mather, and Brianna Nesselrodt respectively.

Of course, we had a ruckus of a time playing musical chairs, which the high school boys won this year, alongside many games, conversations, headlight basketball/ultimate frisbee, and much more!

On Saturday, we woke up after some sleep and jumped into our breakfast and soon after breakout sessions for the second time. We finished up the talks with a time of worship followed by Walker Tuttle’s talk, “Relationship with God” from 1 John 4:7-12. We then wrapped up the morning with a Q&A session where the youth submitted questions that arose from any of the talks and breakout sessions. There were many thoughtful and deep questions arose about relationships which our panel of volunteers and staff so graciously and honestly answered. After lunch and cleaning up the building, we played a new version of Capture the Flag called Outpost, which everyone seemed to love! We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Our 2024 Summer Celebration Camp was a blast! From opening and closing programs full of singing, competitions and shenanigans to snack, craft, rec and Bible lessons, we all had a great time!

Our curriculum, Camp Firelight, was based on Psalm 56:3: “Whenever I’m afraid, I put my trust in you.” This verse reminds us that we can trust God no matter what challenges we face in life. Camp Firelight invites us to put our trust in God in every situation, including during times when we might be afraid.

During the week, we encouraged kids to consider Bible stories that highlight Bible characters who put their trust in God in challenging times:

• God Goes with Jacob (Genesis 28:10-28)
• Ruth Chooses to Go (Ruth 1)
• Young Jesus Shares Wisdom (Luke 2:41-52)
• Jesus Calms the Storm (Mark 4:35-41)
• The Good News Sparks Joy (Acts 8:26-40)

As has been our long-standing tradition, we headed to Ocean City, NJ for our Youth Retreat! We had a great week focusing on the theme of "Knowing God" during our morning programs and personal devotion times and our evening small groups.

From sunrise to (well after) sunset, we enjoyed all the things - beach, volleyball, boardwalk, dancing, basketball, card games, and so much more!

Special thanks to our leaders who spoke, shared testimonies, led small groups, fed 100 people daily, and shared in the work and fun.

Our 2024 Service Trip was spectacular as we found ourselves in the path of totality for the solar eclipse in Williston, VT. None of our photos do it justice, but check out the second photo for a glimpse of how dark it got at 3:27 pm!

Throughout the week, we served at the New England Training and Sending Center for Church Planting and Revitalization (NETS). They are in the initial stages of a major renovation project in their academic building. It was especially rewarding move from demo to framing and see the plans taking shape.

As a group, we spent time each evening considering Romans 12:1-2 where Paul writes “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” It was encouraging to be able to put this call to action as we worked together through out the week.

On March 15th and 16th, women from Christ Redeemer Church, Christ Restoration Church, and The Quechee Church gathered at Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey, NH for a retreat.

The retreat theme was "Why This? Why Now?" Speaker Coletta Smith helped us reflect and consider how we can grow in our understanding of God's plan for each of our lives.

Our February 23rd and 24th, men from Christ Redeemer Church, Christ Restoration Church, The Quechee Church and several other churches gathered for a time of teaching and fellowship at Singing Hills Conference Center in Plainfield, NH.

The conference theme was "Strategy of Desire: Reorienting the Longings of Our Heart." Over the course of the weekend, we considered how the Message of Jesus calls us to something greater than shaming ourselves into submission or battling with mere willpower; instead, we are called to a different, richer path—a path that redirects our desires to their rightful object.

On December 17th, we opened our worship service with our annual Children's Christmas Program. In addition to creating a live nativity, a significant number of children memorized Scripture passages to recite throughout the program.

From content to small groups and big games, Fall Youth Conference 2023 was a great weekend!

This year's theme was "Right with God: Has God Saved Me?" We talked through our need to be justified, defined in Anya's testimony as being made right with God. After we heard her story, Abrm delved deeper into our need for justification as sinners before God. Chris used the example of the Rich Young Ruler in Mark 10 to show our tendency to want to earn righteousness before God but how Jesus said it's impossible without following Him. And finally Brianna talked from Romans 6 about the power of the resurrection in the life of a justified person as the new life way of living like Jesus.

The kids got to spend time in small groups discussing the talks and getting to know one another. There was no shortage of fun to be had from the game room, to basketball and four square in the rain, and plenty of late night chats with friends.

This summer, we had the joy of celebrating two separate baptism services. On Sunday, August 6th, ten people were baptized at Storrs Pond during our annual summer picnic. On Sunday, August 27th, three more people were baptized.

During each baptismal service, each person shared their story of how God has worked in their life to bring them to faith. It was an encouraging time of celebrating God’s faithfulness in bringing people to Himself.

Our regular venue wasn’t available this year, but we pulled through, partnering with Providence Presbyterian Church and hosting over 50 kids and 30 volunteers! Our child to volunteer ratio made for some really intentional and fun discipleship during the week as we blasted off into space and had a Stellar time shining Jesus’ light.

Stellar: Shine Jesus’ Light! That was our theme this year as we explored different ways Jesus shines His light in the world and we can too. Our core verse was John 8:12, “Jesus said… I am the light of the world.” The kids’ imaginations and excitement for Jesus took a journey into the far reaches of Scripture space for four days, exploring:

• Day 1 - When life feels dark… shine Jesus’ light! (Luke 2:1-20; Matthew 1:18–2:12)
• Day 2 - When people don’t get along… shine Jesus’ light! (Luke 19:1-9; Romans 12:16)
• Day 3 - When good things happen… shine Jesus’ light! (Luke 19:28-40; Psalm 100:1)
• Day 4 - When people are sad… shine Jesus’ light! (John 19–20; John 14:1)
• Day 4 - When people need help… shine Jesus’ light! (Matthew 5:16)

Thank you to the many volunteers this year who made our camp out of this world stellar, and thank you to Providence OPC.

June 24th to the 29th saw nearly 100 kids and adults trek all the way down to Ocean City, NJ for our annual youth retreat. It was our biggest group of kids ever and led to us having to take two buses down for the first time! It’s about an 8-hour bus ride, and our kids and leaders were both troopers going down and coming back. We stayed at the Kull Youth Center which is a part of the historic Ocean City Tabernacle church right in the heart of the city. Our days were filled with teaching time in the morning, lazy afternoons at the beach, evening small group discussions, and nightly treks along the boardwalk – not to mention some truly incredible food from the team of moms who cooked and served food to all 100 of us. I’d be remiss though if I didn’t mention both our dance parties where we learned a number of line dances, how to swing dance, and saw some truly amazing dance moves. There were also an absurd number of runs to go get donuts from Dot’s in the mornings together with some beautiful, albeit cloudy, sunrises.

Our teaching time and small group discussions were centered around the book of Philippians and learning about the Joy of the Gospel. The Bible indicates that Jesus serves as the perfect example of Joy. His sacrificial life and ministry, though, are more than just a model – they are the keys to eternal life itself. As we pondered how Christ’s death and resurrection, and Paul’s life in service to the Gospel demonstrate the true meaning of Joy, we looked at all the various things we run to for contentment and joy instead and how those things are ultimately hollow in the face of the joy offered us through the Gospel. It was such a gift to hear from the testimonies of several of our kids and leaders who attested to how they had found joy in Christ and how deeply that had changed their lives. Many of the kids on the trip hadn’t heard the truth of the Gospel in much detail before, so we were grateful to have a chance to get to discuss that time all together. All in all, it was an amazing trip with abundant opportunities to see God working in the hearts of everyone involved. We’re looking forward to going back next year!

The 2023 Men's Conference was held at Singing Hills Christian Conference Center on February 24th and 25th. The retreat theme was "He is Not Ashamed" with guest speaker Erik Raymond.

Jesus’s family photo is filled with people with all kinds of stories. What do they have in common? They were big sinners but Jesus is a bigger Savior.

On December 18th, we had the joy of starting off our service with our annual Children's Christmas Program. Many of the children memorized Scripture which they recited prior to inviting all the shepherds, angels, and manger animals down to the stage. Enjoy some photos of the morning below!

On November 18th and 19th, we had nearly 70 adults and kids at Christ Community Church in Plainfield, NH for our annual Fall Youth Conference. We always have a lot of fun at our youth retreats, but this year was a particularly great one! CCC has a fantastic space where we were able to have a worship band led by our very own youth group leaders and one very talented high school drummer. There were lots of games played, including a game of musical chairs that our high school girls were very proud to have won. The theme of the retreat was “Brought Near: Our New Identity in Christ” with talks that sought to address the issues we face in our current culture surrounding identity. That first night we had the privilege to hear a testimony from Nick Engert as well as hear Robert Moore speak on our identity in Christ out of the first half of Ephesians 2.
 
On Saturday, we woke up after a night of “trying” to sleep and jumped right into our breakout sessions led by our middle school youth group leaders Mike O’Leary and Brianna Nesselrodt. Mike spoke on how shame affects and warps our identity; Brianna spoke on the realities of what we lose and gain when we choose to place our identity in Christ. We then wrapped up the morning with a question and answer session where kids were able to submit their own questions about identity and the various talks thus far. Josh DePasacreta, Anna Kaye Schulte, and Becca Wistrom joined our breakout session leaders to try to answer some of these questions. They did a fantastic job. We ended our content for the retreat with Robert closing us out with a talk on what our new identity in Christ means for our relationships with each other. The final event of the retreat is always our annual game of Capture the Flag which is usually freezing and always fun. Can’t wait to do it all again next year!

On Saturday, October 1st, over CRC volunteers gathered to serve at several locations through out the Upper Valley! Thank you to all who came out to serve!

We also were able to bring back our skit night this year and enjoyed the artistic stylings of a sleeping bag dance group, a water spouting group of middle school boys, and a performance of animals’ eating habits among several other creative sketches.

His sacrificial life and ministry, though, are more than just a model – they are the keys to eternal life itself. As we pondered how Christ’s death and resurrection serve to renew our own lives and free us from the traps of social comparison and judgment that we are so easily caught up in, our teachers showed us how being friends with Christ could lead to change that nothing else has the capacity to accomplish. It was such a gift to hear from the testimonies of several of our kids and leaders who attested to how friendship with Christ had deeply changed their own lives. Many of the kids on the trip hadn’t heard the truth of the Gospel in much detail before, so we were grateful to have a chance to get to discuss that time all together. All in all, it was an amazing trip with abundant opportunities to see God working in the hearts of everyone involved. We’re looking forward to going back next year!

After a 2 year hiatus during covid, Summer Celebration Camp was back on Tuesday, July 12^th through Friday, July 15^th. We were thrilled to have nearly 70 kids join us for a week of  fun and learning!

The theme was Spark Studios: where imagination is ignited and creativity is awakened! Children explored the workmanship of God in the world and how to use their talents to bring glory to God by studying Ephesians 2:10 and the following passages.

• Day 1 Opening Program - God, the Creator (Acts 13:21-23; Psalm 104)
• Day 1 Lesson - God, the Designer (1 Samuel 16)
• Day 2 Lesson - Jesus, the King (Psalm 118:26; Acts 13:21-23; Matthew 21:1-11)
• Day 3 Lesson - Jesus, the Redeemer (Luke 23:13-25, 44-56; 24:1-12, 36-49)
• Day 4 Lesson - Holy Spirit, the Helper (Acts 1:4-14; Acts 2)
