Map & Directions

Sunday School meets most Sundays during the school year at 9:00 am.
For more details, visit our Sunday School page.

What should I expect?

Expect to hear God-centered, applicable Biblical messages, a vibrant mix of old and new Christ-centered music, the celebration of the Lord’s Supper and a friendly atmosphere.

Expect to find a diversity of people, young and old, married and single, students and retirees, families and young couples, committed believers and spiritual seekers all working to grow in their understanding of Christ and their service to others.

What should I do with the kids?

Children of all ages are welcome at CRC. For those who wish, we have a Childcare Program for infants through 3rd grade during the worship service. These programs consist of a variety of activities, a Bible lesson, song time and a snack.

Infants through 3-year-olds may be dropped off in their classrooms prior to the service. Children 4 and above participate in the worship service through the singing and congregational sharing time and are dismissed to their classes during a break prior to the sermon. For more details, visit our Childcare page.

Where should I park?

When you arrive at Hanover High School, you may either park in front of the school or in the back parking lot. Please note: If using the back parking lot, the entrance to the building has a short flight of stairs. If you are looking for a handicap accessible entrance, please park in the front of the building. More details can be found below under “Accessibility.”

If you park at the front of the school, enter through the main doors and proceed through the lobby to a large flight of stairs. If you park behind the school, follow the signs for Christ Redeemer Church to the rear entrance. Once inside, you will see signs directing you through the hallway and to the left towards the large flight of stairs.

The service is held in the auditorium immediately to your right at the top of the stairs.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. God cares more about our hearts than our externals… and so do we.

Accessibility

The service is handicap accessible from the front of the building. There are a number of parking spots available at the front of the school. If you have a handicap placard, you may park in a small lot just off of Lebanon Street. If you are coming from downtown Hanover, the lot will be the first right after the light at the intersection of Summer Street and Lebanon Street. You may then follow the sidewalk and enter the school through the main entrance.

Once inside, the greeters at the far end of the lobby will be able to direct you to the elevator.

If there is not a greeter present when you arrive, take the ramp immediately across from the front door and proceed through the lower section of the lobby and straight through the set of double doors. The elevator will be to your right directly across from the Women’s Restroom. Once on the elevator, select floor “2A - Music Lobby” which will take you to the second floor music lobby. Please note: the elevator has doors on both sides. You should exit the elevator through the opposite door you entered on the first floor. The elevator can fit 2 to 3 adults comfortably.

Upon exiting the elevator, the auditorium will be immediately to your right.

Inclement Weather Cancellation

When the worship service (or in some cases just Sunday School) is cancelled due to bad weather or some other emergency, the cancellation will be communicated as follows:

  • An email message will be sent to all those on the CRC Email List* by 6:30 am.
  • The church website will be updated to note the cancellation by 7 am with a banner announcing the cancellation.

Even if the service is not cancelled, please use your own best discernment, as to whether it is wise for you to travel. There can be great variation in the weather and road conditions within the broader Upper Valley, and this may preclude you from participation on any given Sunday.

If the weather conditions where you live prohibit your attendance and you are scheduled to serve on the Master Service Schedule that morning, please email the church office as soon as you are able (preferably before 7:30 am) so that we can make other arrangements.

For all other events an email will be sent to participants. If you have any questions, contact the leader of that particular ministry or group.

* If you are uncertain that you are on the church email list, please email church office.
