COVID-19 Update 3/16/20:

In light of the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control we are canceling our women’s retreat until  it is safe for all in our community to gather together. If you have already paid, someone will be contacting you about sending you a refund.

We are in prayer for you during this time of anxiety and uncertainty. May God use this season to grow our trust in Him, and use us to show the love of Jesus to the hurting, sick, and scared around us.

PSALM 46
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.”

CRC Women’s Retreat Team
Our annual Women’s Retreat is a weekend to get away, grow friendships and make new ones, and be encouraged in your relationship with God through time with Him and in His Word. We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity for spiritual, relational, and physical rest and rejuvenation!

We’ll be returning to Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey, NH for our retreat in 2020. Pilgrim Pines is beautiful, with hiking trails, a small lake, and a variety of housing options. Assuming the postponed retreat is a similar timeframe, the retreat will begin on a Friday evening and end after dinner on Saturday. There is an option to stay an extra night on Saturday.

Gospel Resiliency: Conforming to Christ In a World That Wants You to Fit In

What does it look like to be a living sacrifice? In Romans 12, Paul urges believers not to be conformed, but to be transformed by the renewal of their minds. Join us for a weekend of considering the call on our lives to withstand the temptations, expectations, pressures, and voices that daily bombard us to conform to the world. Whether it’s our schedules, our families, our society at large, or our own demanding minds, the Christian must learn to remain firm, walk faithfully in what she believes, and not lose hope.

Illustrated by the transformed life of Helen Rosevere, a twentieth-century missionary to the Congo, we will explore what it means to be a Godly woman who feeds on the Word of life, who fights for humility, and who sacrifices like Christ – a woman of resiliency who is transformed by the great mercies of God. As we shift our view, we too can become women who so love the world that we refuse to conform to it.
