Flourish
Help Us Plan for the Future
Christ Redeemer Church has had a vision for New England since 2000. As we work to build a physical church home for our congregation, we also focus on being a church for other churches: reproducing new congregations, revitalizing dead or dying congregations, providing resources to existing churches, and providing residency training to future pastors.
Our CRC family needs a permanent home. For years, we have worked towards and talked about a church building of our own to gather, a physical location that would serve as a place of welcome for those searching for something, be it spiritual nourishment, a community or a helping hand. We are grateful that (for now) we’re able to rent space in Hanover High School, yet it’s a challenge to still exist as a “church out of a box.” We know we could do so much more with a facility of our own. We want a building that is a gathering place for our congregation and a resource for our community, a home that will allow us to preach to gospel for generations to come.
As part of that process, Christ Redeemer has entered into a capital campaign to make this dream a reality! Please be on the lookout for more information in the coming months. In the meantime, please pray for the Lord’s direction of this campaign, and that we may make Him known through all our efforts.”

Our Heavenly Father, we ask you to pour out the blessings for which Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died—for He died not only to purchase and purify His Church, but also to extend her reach, even to the remotest parts of the earth. We thank You for Your provision over the past 25 years, as You have led us through many dangers, toils, and snares—troubles that have both threatened us and threatened Your work. We thank You that despite all this, we have seen Christ’s kingdom not only come to our Upper Valley community, but also, go out to countless thousands. Would you now bless the work of Christ Redeemer Church and supply our every need for years to come? And would you provide a house for us to gather to worship You and to build up Your saints through the teaching and training of the Word of Christ? For, Lord, we believe the promise of the Lord Jesus, when He said: “Upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” In Christ’s most holy name, we pray, Amen!
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a capital campaign?
A capital campaign is a targeted effort to raise funds for a specific project or need, such as a new construction, or major improvements. Unlike regular annual giving, it focuses on achieving a particular goal over a set period.
When does the capital campaign begin?
It already has! Currently, we are preparing campaign materials, recruiting volunteers, and getting ready to invite the community to join us on this campaign. Most people will be asked to support the campaign in January 2025, but the work for the campaign has already begun.
Why are we embarking on a capital campaign now?
Based on the results of our recent planning study, it's clear that Christ Redeemer Church is ready to take the next step toward building a permanent home. This campaign will enable us to achieve our goal of strengthening our roots in the Upper Valley and extending our reach for generations to come.
How is this campaign connected to Flourish?
The previous Flourish campaign was to get us started towards having a building, while also resourcing all of our ministries. This campaign is dedicated to finishing the funding for the new church building to better serve the community, and therefore, all of our ministries and activities.
How will the campaign impact the church’s ministry and community outreach?
This campaign serves to grow our ministries and service outreach. Through the new building, we will continue to serve the community through our ministries, while also growing the strength and reach of our impact for decades to come. We long to see the many staff and volunteer hours that go into set up and take down every week re-invested to serve our community.
What is the campaign theme?
The theme for our campaign is Flourish: Strengthening Roots. Extending Reach. This theme was chosen in part to reflect the progress of our initial campaign, and how through this campaign we are looking to strengthen and grow our capacity to serve those around us.
How will the church keep the congregation informed about the campaign’s (or building’s) progress?
We are committed to keeping the congregation fully informed throughout the campaign using our website, newsletters, and email. These FAQs are part of that effort, and there will be a series of them throughout the campaign. Our goal is to ensure the entire community stays engaged with the campaign, is aware of the campaign’s progress, and understands how they can best support our mission.
How can I get involved?
Please pray for us and the campaign first and foremost! Beyond that, be on the lookout for more information about volunteer opportunities, and other ways to serve. If you have questions, you can reach out to our campaign manager, Sam Huddleston.

Flourish: Taking Root
This prior phase of the Flourish Campaign was completed in January of 2022.
Thanks to all who participated!
The Gospel isn't waiting, and neither are we. Our hope is to see three things as a result of your partnership:
1. A facility built that encourages the Gospel to flourish2. Our capacity to serve other churches expanded
3. Housing constructed for staff, residents, and interns
