A few tips for parents:

- Make your time joyful – have fun!!!
- Remember, it’s primarily about a relationship, not a task to scratch off
- Have your kids participate in age and maturity appropriate ways – reading, singing, etc.

- Pray for educators and students as they finish up the school year in the next few weeks. Pray that they would finish well and honor God with their work.
- Thank God for our armed service members and pray for their safety.
- As you may have heard, Ravi Zacharias passed away this past week. He had a profound impact on the advancement of the Gospel through the ministry of apologetics. His love and compassion for the questioner modeled Christ’s own heart for those who lost and searching for Truth. Let us pray this week for Ravi’s family and for his ministry, RZIM. Pray also for ourselves and for our church that as we too encounter questioners we would display the same love and compassion as Ravi did, and have an apt word/reply that serves to nudge people toward a saving knowledge and relationship with Christ.

PEOPLE: That I belong—body and soul, in life and in death—not to myself but to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ, who at the cost of his own blood has fully paid for all my sins and has completely freed me from the dominion of the devil; that he protects me so well that without the will of my Father in heaven not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, that everything must fit his purpose for my salvation. Therefore, by his Holy Spirit, he also assures me of eternal life, and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him.
