Micah

If the current events of our world have ever tempted you to feelings of despair or to feel like God is absent, you know what the people of Israel were feeling during the days of the prophet Micah.

Threats of war, extortion, oppression, corruption, and lack of spiritual leadership, these are the conditions of Micah’s day. However God was not distant. He addresses His people and their world around them as He does ours, and He speaks a word of hope and restoration. Through Micah we hear that troubles of our world will not outlast the steadfast love of God, and that good news empowers us to be a people who wait faithfully for God to fulfill His promises as He always has!

Join us this Advent season as we journey through the book of Micah and remember our “Hope for Restoration”.

“Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love. He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7:18-19)
