Philippians

The Joy of Unity:
Striving Together for the Joy of Jesus

Nothing is more challenging in life than the struggle for joy. Where does it come from? How do you get it? How do you keep it? In St. Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he is encouraging them to remain unified and steadfast in the faith and love that are in Jesus Christ—to strive together for the joy that is uniquely found in gospel.

The challenge is real, as they are suffering for their faith. And the heart from which that challenge comes is genuine, as Paul himself is suffering unjustly as a prisoner of the Roman Empire.

Join us this fall as we consider this ancient letter and learn the secret of joy, even in the midst of trouble.
