The Genesis of Christmas
Who doesn’t long for a new beginning, a fresh start?
Well, Christianity is all about new beginnings. The first book of the Bible (Genesis) is about the beginning of creation, and the second part of the Bible (what we call the New Testament) is all about our new beginning in Christ. Both creation and Christ mark a new beginning for our life and the world.
Join us this December at Christ Redeemer Church, as we tie these two pieces together in our special Advent Season Sermon series, “The Genesis of Christmas.” We will look at how the themes of Book of Genesis find their fulfillment in the person of Jesus Christ and renew our perspective for living in the here-and-now.
